Information we process
We process information you provide when joining the waitlist, creating an account, completing a profile, contacting us or using community features. This can include email, city, age or date of birth, account identifiers, authentication information, profile details, preferences, photos, optional verification media, messages and safety reports. We also process session, device and network information and first-party visit, referral and campaign events to operate and understand the service. Password-account credentials are stored as password hashes rather than readable passwords.
Sensitive information and visibility
Profile preferences and communications may reveal sensitive information, including sexual orientation, sex life or relationship preferences. Share only information you want processed for the features you use. Avoid sharing other people’s confidential information. Information you place in profiles, member rooms or messages is visible to the relevant members according to the feature and your selected settings. Your account email is not displayed as your public profile. Anonymous display settings do not make your activity anonymous to the service operator.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts, profiles, discovery, matching and communication; operate verification and safety features; prevent abuse; resolve support and privacy requests; understand service usage; and send launch updates you request. We process information as needed to provide requested services, protect the service and its members, meet legal obligations, and act on consent where required. You can withdraw consent by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. We do not treat account creation alone as permission to send marketing updates.
Service providers and other recipients
Hosting, database, object-storage, identity and communications providers process information needed to run their services. ChatGPT sign-in, when used, involves its identity provider. Video calls use WebRTC signaling and network connection services, including STUN and any configured TURN relay; connection information may be processed by those services and peers. Authorized personnel may review reports and submitted verification media. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect people, investigate misuse or enforce our terms. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, storage and analytics
We use cookies or similar local storage for authentication, sessions, safety and first-party usage attribution. Visit and conversion records can include a visitor or session identifier, page, city and referral or campaign details. Browser settings can limit cookies and local storage, but some features may stop working. Launch-update requests can be withdrawn by contacting us.
Retention, deletion and security
We retain information while needed to provide the service and for legitimate safety, dispute-resolution and legal purposes. The appropriate period depends on the information, account status, open reports and legal requirements. You can request account deletion using available account controls or by emailing privacy@joinnadi.com; we may verify ownership. Deletion may be subject to necessary safety evidence, legal records and backup handling. We use access restrictions and technical safeguards, but no service can guarantee complete security. Disappearing media cannot prevent a recipient from capturing or retaining it.
Your choices and regional rights
You can edit available profile fields and privacy settings, stop sharing optional information, use block/report controls, and contact us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objections where applicable. People in the EEA and UK may also complain to their data protection authority. Other rights depend on your location and applicable law, including rights under relevant US state and Israeli privacy laws. Contact privacy@joinnadi.com to exercise a right or withdraw consent. We may request information reasonably needed to verify ownership. We will not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
International processing and adults only
Nadi is operated from the United States and service providers may process information in other countries. Applicable transfer protections are required where the law provides them. Nadi is only for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a minor has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
