CHECK THE CONNECTION FIRST

A dating app with video chat before meeting

Text can show chemistry, but not always consistency. After a mutual match, Nadi members can request an in-app video conversation before deciding whether an in-person date feels right.

Use video as one signal—not a guarantee

  1. Match first.Video calling is available only after two real members mutually choose to connect.
  2. Request, never pressure.Either person can decline, reschedule or end the conversation. A match is not consent to a call or meeting.
  3. Keep private details private.A short conversation can stay focused on tone, expectations and comfort without sharing an address, workplace or financial information.
  4. Look for consistency.Compare the live conversation with the profile and earlier messages. Stop if the person becomes evasive, coercive or asks for money.
  5. Plan the first meeting independently.Meet in public, tell someone you trust and keep your own transportation available.

How Nadi handles pre-date video

Nadi is an 18+ dating community built around clearer intentions, boundaries and mutual interest. A matched member can request a video conversation inside the app, so neither person has to share a personal phone number just to talk.

A video conversation may make impersonation harder, but it cannot prove identity or make a meeting safe. Optional photo checks, consistent communication and your own judgment still matter.

Early-beta reality

The live community is still small, and creating an account does not promise a nearby match, reply or meeting. The separate demo uses sample profiles that cannot match, message or call.
